Every Commute Counts

Kentuckiana’s Commute Challenge

Beginning this Spring, commuters in the Kentuckiana region will be able to log their “alternative mode” commutes and be eligible for incentives.  Every Commute Counts powered by Ticket to Ride is a FREE program designed to improve air quality and encourage the use of commute alternatives to work such as carpooling, vanpooling, riding transit (TARC), walking, bicycling, and telecommuting.

Ticket to Ride plans to continue to work with employers and commuters in the Kentuckiana region to establish custom commute programs and offers incentives to encourage commuters to try new modes for getting to work. By joining the program, commuters and employers are offered solutions that save time AND money.

The program is simple! Join Ticket to Ride and report your daily alternative commute (carpooling, vanpooling, riding TARC, walking, telecommuting, or bicycling) to and from work.  Eligible commuters have the opportunity to win $10, $25 and even $50 gift cards – winners will be selected every month!

2018 Challenge Regulations

Are You Eligible?

  • Do live or work in one of the following counties?: Jefferson, Bullitt, Henry, Trimble, Shelby, Spencer, Oldham, Clark, IN or Floyd, IN.
  • Do you ever get to work by carpooling, vanpooling, riding TARC, bicycling or walking? Or do you ever telework or work a compressed work week?
  • Can you provide a physical home or work address (not a P.O. box)?

What Do You Get?

If you’re already made the switch to become a clean commuter, we will reward you for your effort with prizes!  Each time you log a carpool, vanpool, TARC, telework, compressed work week day, bike, or walk trip, you are entered into a monthly drawing to win a gift card.

For example, if you carpooled 10 times last month, you are 10 times more likely to win than someone who carpools just once!

Join the fun & save the air all at the same time!
